    Eternity

He puts his lips upon hers.
                  She feels her heart sink.
The wind blows every strand of hair upon their heads.
Having him hold her is complete.
                    She stares into his eyes.
He sees how the sunset and her seem to go so well.
She now knows that he loves her.
He now knows that she loves him.
Their last hour together must be beautiful.
                       Tomorrow the world will end.
He's hoping that they'll die in each other's arms.
                    She's hoping the same.
As tears fall from her eyes.
He catches them and wipes them away.
She smiles and melts into his heart.
                        He does the same.
                      They say goodnight.
                    They fall asleep.
They wait for a tomorrow that will never come.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
