    Evening's End

    The sun goes down
    a great moon rises
    Fog dances over the river
    dusk comes quickly
    pushing away the light
    Sounds of the night
    fill the dark forest
    Creatures scurry along the
    earth's floor
    Haunting calls echo
    from the great owl
    wise and and all knowing
    Silence now, be still

The closing of day can be so wonderful...it seems to bring out the curious creatures that wait for night to come. This is a sweet and calm little piece....................................gogant
