Eyes

Eyes

Couldn’t she tell by the way I looked at her

That she had all my Heart

There’s a certain way my eyes gaze

Upon a woman

I Love

I want to scale the wall of her Heart

Unwrap the hidden treasure

Concealed within her Heart

Known as Love

I want to handle her body

With fragile care, treating it with the upmost

Of desire and Love

When my lips meet hers

Let it feel like a connection between our souls

When her eyes meet mine

In mid gaze

I’m staring back at the most important thing in my life

She’s like a gift

I’ve waited so long to open

When I finally do find her

My time with her will feel like a blink

To short

Mean time

Until I find her

It feels like

I’m blind

Can’t open my eyes

So while my eyes are stuck shut

Rather than endless black for a view

I’ll imagine what she looks like

I’ll Dream of a life time shared with her

I’ll wait

I’ll hope

And one day

I’ll see

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
