Fallen

Fallen

I should never
have placed you so high
upon that shelf
Thinking you were perfect
I must have fallen
bumping my head

You seemed so sincere
When you told me
I was Special in your eyes
You seemed to always appear
in my darkest hours
Always saying the right things
It's what caused me to put you there
Too high upon that shelf
Knowing if you fell
It would be the end of
You and Me

Your touch Your kiss
Your Embrace
Falling in to You
Baring My Soul
Thought you would do the same
I only felt you slipping away
Making Excuses
Pushing me away

As I hear the wood crack
Believing it would never break
With the weight of hurt
It splintered into pieces
Came crashing down
I barely turned around
It Knocked me to the ground
I couldn't breath
Felt Sick inside
As I watch you Fall
into someone elses Arms

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
