Fallen

I stood tall for a while with my relief I'd sigh
I could look up and watch my hope fall from the sky
I picked you up once so you'd stand taller than the rest
& you pierced my soul the first chance you got and it hurt
the pain was deeper than any words could express
I must confess it was expected and I saw it was coming
but I just felt you ignorance wasn't worth confronting
I held you in my hands with a grasp so tight
that although I knew my fate everything would be alright
because knowledge is what you lacked most of all
you see I wasn't the only one to fall no lie
so before you kick back and take that relieving sigh
know that I held you & when I dropped you left my hands and fell faster than I
remember I AM the Prophecy and I bounce back fast
just like I did in you attempts to trip me in the past
so I admit you brought me down but what damage did you really do
see I may have fallen but I still stand taller than you!
