    Poem Commentary

    to Joshua Fennen (died June 11, 2008 in the Boy Scout camp at Little Sioux tornado, age 13) and Dorothy Fennen (died November 2011 of cancer)

    Fennen

     The mind is fresh and yet I feel
    It's time to mourn and time to reel

    The father, daughter still have class
    But mother, son have come to pass

    First the weather, then disease
    When will the tragedy ever cease

    We loved them then, we love them now
    Our hearts go with them to the clouds
