    FLIRTATIOUS LOVE

Come in! I’ve been expecting you there’s a knock at my heart’ door, and love dares to come through
Love walks through and lights all the fires and smiles
Love knows just how to smile… as though love intended to stay a while.
Well… it did stay, but only for a short while.
Before I knew it love was on its way, for love told all of its lies Soon love ran out of lies to tell Love is restless you see, love is a flirt! Love has places to go and people to hurt.
So here’s the shovel to smother your lying flames.
For tomorrow you’ll barely remember my name.
To protect my heart, I’ll try to forget you my dear.
Just as the encaged prisoner tries to forget the taste of a real meal. So tell me this how can I trust forever when forever lied to me? How can I trust the future when the future mutated when I reached out to it?
Many times my heart opened, but love told the same lies. So why should I trust love, when took what it wanted and ran away with my soul?
How can I count on forever, when forever took my future and ran away with love? You see forevers come and go, future mutate,

    And love, well …

LOVE IS NOTHING BUT A FLIRT!
