Forever Land

You were there in my beginning.I was there until your end though thick and thin. Living life in sin you were more than just a friend. Even though you are gone my heart still beats for a place we both shall meet.

Not just for a while but for eternity.Where we can here songs from the golden band.Walk next to sun and hold your hand.Blue and grey sky's and sliver sands.

Please God Let It Be Forever Land.

i really enjoyed reading your somewhat new poem..., i suppose everything you have touched; has been golden since the powers at be seperated us, ( amoung other things)... just wanted you to know that you have been missed for every reason.... for making all rainy days sunny( you)have been missed ..., for still being my reason for smiling, when the struggles of the world stress me out, and takes its tolll on me

i too wonder what the golden bands songs sound like. if its heaven your speaking of and if many of the great singers here who have passed live there, i could only hope that they are still playing clubs and jamming and making records in heaven. if i had it my way of people that have passed, john lennon would be singing, jimi hendrix on guitar, keith moon on drums, and i don't know maybe kurt cobain on bass and 2nd vocals. now that would be kinetic magic! good poem btw.. here means right here right now..hear is listening. you spelled it wrong. goojob though

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
