    Forever

    Forever

I saw the sunshine and thought to myself
I am free at last, I am free at last
I saw the moon last night and I thought to myself
I'm alive at last, I'm alive at last
For all of the pain that I suffered up in my cage
For all the illusion I saw in my loneliness
When I saw the day approaching from far away
I thought to myself, I am saved at last
    I am saved at last
I hear you calling me on the telephone, putting a smile on my face
and I thought to myself, I am well at last, I am well last
For all the times I played in the shadows
For all the times I cried the whole night long
Searching and hoping, wishing that I belong
I saw the beauty of your face, while anticipating your sweet caress
    And I thought to myself
I am reborn at last, I am reborn at last
Today again I’ve seen your tenderness while anticipating your
Your sweet and tender kiss so I thought to myself
I’ll be loved at last, I’ll be loved at last
But then I realized that I could be only dreaming
So I lift up my head to the heavens
And I cried at last and I cried at last
because nothing can change the way that I feel for you in my heart
Knowing that you will be able to satisfy my many needs
For you have awaken me from my slumber
So today I made up my mind and I said to myself
    I will wait for you
until You are mine at last
until You are mine at last

I absolutely relate. I love it.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
