    Forsaken

Am I forbidden from this life to endure happiness.
Is this God's way of revolution. Is this my final judgement.
My wreckage is repution for my sins.
Who knows where my destiney begegins, and my destination ends.
Stuck in my own illusions, memories that strike me to my knees.
Pain from within to be forsaken, no emotions, no love, no tears ofany kind.
Am I to igknowledge the fact of never being happy and to live a lonely life. I've been stained with defeat, broken to my core.
Am I careless. Am I in constant sarrow. Have I lost my faith, the word is reckless to leaving unspoken tongues. The words never ment to be kept. Tears not to shed.
Smiles to break the tention in civilization.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
