Under a cover of black,
To the shadows I retreat,
Waiting for the moon,
My transformation is complete.

Under the watchful eye,
That guards us in the night,
That watches our every move,
That dances with delight.

It’s where you will find,
The me that can’t be seen,
In the light of day,
The one that is obscene.

Prowling through the bush,
Hunting what I desire,
My heart begins to race,
My soul is set afire.

And then I finally see her,
My equal, my love, my prey,
We will play in the divine,
Until the start of the day.

We must re-don our mask,
When the sun does rise,
And then no longer bask,
When in the land of lies.

What gets me through my day,
Thoughts of games we’ve played,
So I sit and wait,
For the sun to slowly fade.

Then I will once again,
Be free to roam the night,
To renew my lustful hunt,
And play again in ghostly light.

RE: POB Bleed for a Cause Volume 2

Little Drink

I am wasting;
Skin a dry cover of my suffering.
I need you mortally.
I need you near to me.

Pale of life,
Lingering here with hope.
Your throat gleams.
I see life pulse
And it drives me slowly mad.

My angel, my savior.
Foolishly unafraid and trusting.
I am ashamed.
I need you terribly;
Your kind feeds me,
Kindles the quickening I desperately need.

Angel of death, I could be.
Withholding the final draught
So difficult, incomplete.
Your throat gleams
With vulnerability.
I promise…

I won’t drink too deeply.

Ok, here's a few couplets to start...Join in and bleed with me!

Here resides a solitary being
Among the stacks in the evening.

Moonlight shines, his only light
He reads with supernatural sight.

His life is done, he refused his bones
Now his living is done through tomes.

Dusty volumes from ages past,
Looking out from shelves aghast,

Staring out in wondering glee,
Sharing this new tomes misery,

Here they sit, one and all,
Waiting for their eternal fall,

No eyes to fall upon our pages,
Just dust and webs to last the ages…

(i just hit quote and added my own... grin )

Writings of blazing passion, a bloody deed
Eviscerate his heart and increase his need

He slips closed the words of lust and strife
Determined to live, he strokes the knife

with a sinister eye he plots and schemes
beyond the darkness his vision sees

an insatiable lust... his ego he strokes
to control the living mind body and soul

he looks past his eyes to sees a dead light
and captures it all within his minds eye

a world of words swirl in his brain
as he caputres the thoughts that make him insane

Soundless torment keeps me bound,
Deathly stench from rotted ground.

Words spill forth like crimson pain,
Dripping sadness fueling flame.

Wishing for some eyes to peer,
Anguish mortal men to fear.

Quipping placation, the spell takes hold
The phantom corpse rises, his soul is sold

Vessel of evil, tomb of throbbing lust
He aches for the taste of copper, of rust

Slick drool runs from his hard cruel lips
As he dreams of womanly form, soft hips

They will have the final laugh!

Oh for eyes to see his fate!
Instead the pages listen, wait...

Driven mad with his mind's vision
Of violent sex, forcing submission...

Like all Illusions, she seems real!
The blood that runs, the flesh he can feel -

The tomes are laughing with delight
As the wraith destroys his own life!

Another brilliant suicide!
Orchestrated by books with time to bide...

The End!

Epigraph of the Nephilim

Heaven’s honeyed timbre abandoned me
Bereft of silk-feathered encirclement
And dashed to iniquity’s firmament
Only to be caressed by flames for infinity.

RE: POB Bleed for a Cause Volume 2 ~slither~by inkmaster

Slithering manifestations are trapped inside of me,
Their eyes burn and show me how to learn to see.
Forever the darkness taints my darkened sin,
The wonders of evil are the ones that always win.
The demons hold firmly onto the darkness of the night,
The chard souls never knew how to give up the fight.
The rage twists and rolls underneath my withered skin,
Somehow the ancient ones always come and forever swim.
The echoes of the sands of time have turned to etched glass,
The heat from hell has made the grains implode from within at last.
The old ones come and show their faceless shameless grins,
No one has the balls to scream out fearing where they have been.
inkmaster

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
