    Fresh Snow

I feel for you like fresh snow that
    Falls and turns into ice.
I melt into your embrace as the snow
In a warm and open field.
I shall softly trickle my flakes of love
On top of the house that holds your heart.

And the snow falls, every flake in its appropriate place. Thank you for the wonderful imagery

Real cute. But as I read it I seem to be looking for more to come. What happens next? The metaphor can be deeper.

Poetry is what is lost in translation.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
