    friends and lovers

    The winds blow
    I think of you
    remembering my blessings
    with each thought
    the winds blow
    the love
    we share
    creates my existance
    and yours
    blowing away the preconcieved notions
that any of us could ever exist
    only within ourselves
    I choose to reach
    beyond
    myself
    to be
    ever so grateful
    for the friendships
    for the love
    so many
    have shared with me
    as the wind blows
    I send blessings
    to thee

I love the way you presented this. Reminds me of one I wrote called Tell It To The Wind. Such a simple yet proufound message you send. Words of wisdom for all to live by. Well done.

Good simple poem. I like the imsages that you send out with these words.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
