    FRIENDS DOWN THE LINE

    A surf in the net
    Gave the chance to connect,
    Someone came down the line
Not knowing a friendship will shine.

    A connection in daylight
Reason that made us to excite,
For the bridge is so wide
    But everyday glows with pride.

Yesterday, today and tomorrow will connect
With somebody who makes an effect
    This endows us a vision
That will turn out to be a mission.

    For friendship knows no distance
But a life at a glance,
    Within a prudent existence
    Prompt a dream of happiness.

Friends afar not always be apart
In spirit we know will never be distant,
    For alliance may grow
Thus, a friend will never go.

Your subject matter is great, i love the first lines, but your rhyme sounds forced. Soft or near rhyme would be better. But good, thanks!

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
