    Friends

    We started out as strangers
Came upon each other on the “net”
    Became very close
    Though we never met
    Our friendship grew
    And somehow, we both knew
This friendship was meant to be
You called me your soul mate
As now I know you are that to me

Now we are friends, no longer strangers
A deep friendship that continues to grow
A kinship that can’t be explained but we both know
    This friendship will always be
And you will always be a special friend to me

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
