    Genara, Genara

Give us time to get used to not seeing you
Each time we turn our eyes to your favorite chair
Not there -- glancing at the door
    Always eager to greet us
Ready to welcome us into your loving arms
    Always drawing us together.

God, give us strength to let her go
Ease the restlessness that stirs us.
Now she finds peace in you
As You take her into Your loving arms
    Rid of all earthly pain
And free at last... truly free at last.

to vague, need to draw it more together and who it's about

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
