    • Writing some new poems. I'll have them up and ready to pleasure your imaginative minds soon.

    Ghetto

    Garbage streets, little kids playing
With crack pipes and toy cars.
    Robberies, who to protect the
Children, their parents at the bar?

    The influence of drugs
    Among every corner you walk.
Turn on the wrong block your
Erased like a black board full of chalk.

    Red bandannas Blue bandannas
    Youngsters think gangs are family.
    Carry a gun, get arrested,
    Now your just another tragedy

    News 10 o'clock another teen
Shot. It rings in your ear.
    Momma picked up that phone,
It was too devastating to hear.

    He was accepted to college,
Be the first out of the ghetto.
Now hes lying in a casket
    Plenty more soon to follow.

"Plenty more soon to follow" Sad but true. Makes you wonder who is out there to represent the struggling man... ? Peace

Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.

Plato (BC 427-BC 347) Greek philosopher.
