    God's Love

As I begin in the vestibule of life
God leads me down the path of mercy
    He is my fortress
He allows me to rest in the comfort of His embrace
My heart, my soul is soothed by His divine grace
His peace flows through me as quietly as a country creek
The magnitude of His love reveals the truth I seek
    His gifts are never ceasing
    I ask, I receive, I seek, I find
Of all His gifts, His love is the most pleasing
He lavishly bestows His love upon us all
The only thing He asks is that we heed His call

The amazing thing about God is His ability to see us beyond our mistakes and shortcomings, and all He desires is that we walk with Him. Isn't God awesome! Great poem!

God is SOO awesome!! Thank you!!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
