Good Or Bad News
When there is good news we always ask if it is true because it is so difficult to believe.
But when there is bad news we rarely inquiry because it is so easy to believe.
A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.
