Goodnight Prayer
Now I lay me down to sleepI pray Oh LORD my soul YOU'LL keep.
And yes this prayer is just to YOU
For I know YOU'LL teach me what to do.
My life has been a living hell
I'm stuck behind this jail cell.
Because the choices I have made
Has made me to a devil's slave.
But now I give it all to THEE
Break my shackles and set me free.
I know YOU will, YOU said YOU would
Cause YOU'RE the only ONE who could.
Down in darkness deep in sin
All the pain came flooding in.
Now I want to come to YOU
For I know that YOU will bring me through.
Drench me in the Blood of CHRIST
wash my sins and save my life.
