Goodnight.
Deep down I know the truth. The truth of who you are to me.You loved me, when you yelled, I could feel the love warm around me,
like a midsummer's night, just waiting to never awake.
As I look into the whirlpool,
I never wish to be changed. You have made me the truthful person I am today. Though I may never see you again, See the true smile you place on your face from time to time, The truth only airs one hope. You were my friend, my sister, my little light, shining on the plateu of hardship, rekindling my hope whenever my sight fell on that light, I would splash and start to run again.
Deep down, when I bump into you, years from now, the river that we dug together inside of me, will run wet again. For now, it falls dry. Dryer than the dead. When nightfall comes, my dreams fall to you, to our laughs, to our frowns. Our fights compare nil to the sadness we felt on that last day.
Goodnight.
