“Gotta Let You Go….”
I gotta let you go...
It hurts because I see how good we could be…
But you are not ready for me…
You came in my life like a cool night’s breeze…
You seemed to make me feel so at ease….
I took comfort in your words and your voice…
My heart started falling as if it had no choice…
I was confused in the beginning trying to fight these feelings…
Inside I was still healing…
I was hurting and angry because of all I had invested…
But at the same time I was being tested…
Now the fairytale is over…
Everything has changed…
Inside I feel so strange…
Having loved the same man for so long…
Now even that is gone…
What do I do with these emotions?...
Guess I gotta let it burn…
Once again it’s my turn…
So my love I hope you understand why I gotta let you go
Only you know…
Always in my heart you will be…
But I must do what’s best for me…
Why can't I shake this hold you have on me...What will it take for me to see...
Maybe all along you were just "playing with me"...
