    Happy Valentine, Mom

Today is a very special day
For a special someone I say
    Someone very dear to me
But who is not here for me to see

Someone who gave life to me
But didn’t live enough to see
Me grow from child to teen
In my childhood she’s never been

But those few years God grant me her
I was small but I still remember
All those moments we use to share
Good or bad, she always care

    Now that I have grown
And have children of my own
I pray to God to bless and keep me
Many years for my children to be

Still I miss her very much
And yearn for her special touch
And even though she’s gone forever
I’ll still remember and love her forever

Happy birthday Mom, I know you’re still there
Happy Valentine’s day Mom, I know you will always care!

    In loving memory

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
