    Hard life

Life does a pretty good job of handling things

    It keeps right right,

    and turns falls into springs.

But every now and then it calls for help from above

to handle matters of life and death,

    second chances and love.

    Fate works through bizarre,

and awkward strings of cause and effect,

making divine intervention nearly imposible to detect.

It has coincidence at the tip of a hat.

But you and I both know,

theres more to it than that.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
