He, the gentle prophet

  • there is always a reason for things to happen the way it does, although we do not necessarily understand it ....

He, the gentle prophet

No one in our century… or the last crossed his path,

But so many people misjudge his character

In his 23 years mission, he had caught the ignorance’s wrath

They would not believe that he was the appointer.

The mystery of his life, started as an orphan,

The sadness of the loss at such a tender age

Fortunately his uncle, patriarch of the clan,

Raised up the little boy, full of love and courage

It was not before long until fate stroke again,

His beloved uncle passed away suddenly

Leaving behind him, his nephew and his pain,

The one that he had loved unconditionally.

The little boy grew up to become so special,

His illiteracy did not prevent his gifts

He did not renounce hope after all his trials,

The kindness of his heart satisfied his uplift.

His trusting character, soon earned him to be called

“The trusting one!” Which was one of his names.

So many pure qualities, he was then entitled,

And chosen as a man of justice ascertain.

After maturity at the age of forty,

Clearly descended upon him the signs of his mission.

Like so many prophets of vision and clarity

He accepted his fate with a full submission.

He had all qualities that it would require,

To fully understand what it was all about.

Well aware of the ones who would soon conspire,

Against him like they did to the pious and devout.

The prophet of men believed in God’s power,

To never abandon the ones He had chosen.

To spread the message of His Might and answer

All the cries and sorrow of His creation of men.

As injustice continues in our days and age,

Without even knowing half of what has been said,

Ignorance is a plague, the hearts it would ravage,

Blind to comprehension of the noble mission …

Of prophet Mohamed!
