Heal Me

Heal Me

I lay here
mesmerized
lost on the inside
mind whirling
neverending choices
no right, no wrong
confused by the confusion
what a mess
how do you mend something
if you can't find where it's broken
or maybe it' not
just an illusion
or merely wounded
intermittently bleeding
slightly torn
flexing in the currents
secure
yet vulnerable
symptoms of
life
work
& love
3 staples
please hold me closed
mend my wounds
heal my pain
