Hello Me Prt.1

Hello Me:
It's been a long time since I've had the chance to talk with you. We use to be so close. What happened to us. I can't understand all of the things we've been through, but I can say that we have learned from each and every experience and situation thrown at us. We made a good team didn't we?

As a child we were so full of hope and dreams. The dreams of being someone important, someone who would make a difference in the lives we pass through. Like when we became a singer. We out did the best of them. Girl, none of those sisters had nothing on us. We took the world by storm didn't we? We took all the awards that night. Do you remember that? Oh how they loved us. Our voice was so strong and clear that any music note was never to hard for us to reach. We brought out all of the hidden emotions that the people had locked up inside. Yes, I still remember our singing career.

In 1976, girl you remember, that is the year that we shocked the world with our splendid beauty. Our long straight radiant shinny black hair that stretched down just touching the small of our back. Our luminous caramel skin that glowed like the morning in all its glory. The way our gown draped our straight, well rounded shoulders. Every long and defined curve cradled by the dress as if it was painted as one of Picasso's master pieces, with the same gentle bush that he so carefully painted the Mona Lisa. We would have been his greatest work of art, if he lived in 1976. You remember that year, that's when we became Ms. Universe. Our beauty finally realized world wide.

Our movie career girl! After becoming Ms. Universe, of course it was only a matter of time before we became the rage at the box office. Do you remember starting with the leading men of Hollywood. The way they would look into our eyes as they saved us from danger. Or the way the leading men always demanded that we play their leading lady, no matter what the movie. The first black actress requested at that time, by the leading men in Hollywood. Our name up in lights, with millions of fans waiting for just a chance to see the most beautiful and wonderful actress ever imagined.

Please tell me that you remember me. I'm still here waiting to hear your voice again. I'm still waiting to go places and experience new and exciting things we haven't done yet. Where have you gone?

With all my love,
You
