hello you

hello you

you are here
my greatest friend
dont disapear
on me again

my dreams all melt
and go down the drain
but they leave me with scars
they leave me with pain

hello you
goodbye me
is this how
its meant to be

hello you
take my hand
walk with me
through strange land

hello you
and goodbye
leave me in peace
to slowly die

I like the directness of "hello you". It tells (me) a mildly melancholy story of a dependence that won't let go. It's kind of like a sad little wind-chime.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
