    • so sorry- haven't been around lately but will be fully back in august.

    her eyes

    I look at me and I see a tired person
    bags under my eyes
    beautiful so I've been told
    my eyes
    they have so much to say
    but I don't let them

    she looks at me;
    she doesn't see the tired person
    nor does she see the stubborn person
    just the gentle,loving,caring person

    Innocent and unstained;
    that's what she is
    untainted by the evil in this world
    she'll grow up someday and
    she'll get stained too
    like the rest of us

    But for now
    she sees me through her eyes;
    my baby's eyes
