    Poem Commentary

    My son Tony plays guitar and I wrote this for him to turn into a song. He liked it but he hasnt gotten around to turning it into a song yet. I cant wait until he does.

    Here I go again

     Here I go again missing you
    My only thoughts are of kissing you
    Sometimes lovers fight over
    who's wrong and who's right
    We need to work it out
    or we'll both be sleeping alone tonight

    Here I go again missing you
    My only thoughts are of kissing you
    Everyone's love can be hard at times
    You've got to try to read the signs
    Those little things that mean a lot
    Say more than all the things
    we haven't got
    Like holding hands when we walk
    through the park
    Kissing tender in the midnight dark
    We have each other
    What else do we really need

    Here I go again missing you
    My only thoughts are of kissing you
    I missed the simple signs
    that were right in front of me
    Your tears fell down like a sad symphony
    I beg forgiveness now
    I'm down on bended knee
    Please come back to where I need you to be
    Right here standing next to me

    This is a beautiful poem i love the rhyme scheme and the theme. We all go through tough break ups and it can be hard to get over our ex's but until then all we have are the sweet memories!

    I can hear BREAD doing this song.
