    holes

sometimes we dig ourselfs great big holes, some are huge, some are cold, some are painfull and some out of spite, some are stupid but seem so right, some are immoral, some are week, these holes we dig can go so deep, they can bring us truth, they can bring us pain, some make us feel we are going insane, the hole i was in was deep and wide,i could hardly see myself inside, then i got my calling from above,a fluted sound,a calling of love,so im building a ladder from rock and mud andim starting to climb my hole i dug.

A good read, classical and forthright, but could use some more substance in a sense of overall "body" Well done and look forward to reading more of your work.......... Peace and Blessings

Excellent rhyme. The poem could use a bit of a breakup, in my opinion. Give it a bit of "shape" so to speak. But your words flow well and yes we dig ourselves into some deep ditches.
