    Home To Stay

Days of feeling ill no longer exist
Days of eating several pills are no longer there
Days of laying so very still, taking slow shallow breaths if you dare

Despite the pain you continued to breath the hospital stenched air

But no longer is this true
I am bringing you home to stay
For you have lived the last of your days
In a box is your final place of rest
A lock of your hair and a tiny picture too
Is all that remains in this locket i ware
That close to my heart upon my chest
You are sorrowfully gone but finally at rest
sleeping forever in the heavens with all those who have loved you best
But home to stay is this symbol of what you where dangling on my chest
Yes the locket that keeps you near while your spirit
sores freely ,until we meet again......
