    HONESTY IN THE FEAR

HAVE YOU EVER SEEN BEAUTY THAT WAS OUT OF REACH
SO FAR THAT YOU YEARN TO BE IN THERE LIFE
FRIGHTENED BY THE SECRETS YOU FEAR WILL CONDEM SAY NOTHING AND CHOOSE WHATS RIGHT

I HAVE SHARED SO MUCH OF MY HEART
THAT AT THESES MOMENTS I YEARN FOR CONNECTION
SPEAKING OUT AT THE PLACES THAT LISTEN
    ABOUT MY DEADLY INFECTION

    CARRYING WITH ME A SHADOW
THAT CAN DARKEN A HEARTS INNOCENT DREAMS
TO LOVE AND BE LOVED WITH OUT FEAR
TO HAVE ALL THAT LIFE HAS OR SEAMS

STILL I YEARN FOR THE TIME WHEN
I WILL REAP LIFES TRUE DREAM
THRUTH LOVE AND HONESTY IN SHARING ABOUT HIV

STILL I TREMBLE IN FEAR THAT IF I SPEAK TO THIS PASSING STRANGER
IF I DONT ACT OUT OF LOVE AND INTEGRITY
I WILL FUEL THE FEARS' THE DANGER.

OR THE DANGER THAT IF I DONT LIVE NOW, LOVE NOW
I WONT GRAB EVERY SECOND FOR WHAT IT HOLDS
    AND I WILL NEVER SEE
THAT THE LIFE OF MY STRANGER MAY NEVER BE TOLD

I MAY NOT HAVE MY YEARNING
BUT IT STANDS LIKE A TALL TOWER
MORE OVER ,TRUTH HONESTY AND LOVE
CAN ALWAYS GROW LIKE WILD FLOWER

DO WE PICK IT AND SAY FAREWELL
DO WE SMIFF IT UNTILL IT DIES FOREVERMORE
DO WE LOOK AT THE HEART THE SAME
    DOESN'T THE HEART KEEP SCORE

SO GOOD BY MY SWEET STRANGER
JUST FOR A MOMENTS KISS FOR MY SAKE
IF ONLY I KNEW THAT MAY HIV
WOULDN'T ALSO HAVE YOUR LIFE TO TAKE.

This is another strong piece about courage, and hope, and about coping with a heavy fear of what tomorrow will bring - when the next tomorrow, may be the last... A good write, but I would suggest using a good spell checker before posting next time...

Thank You for your comments and of course Spell checker I go to remember that. ;)

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
