    HOPES ALIVE

    Amidst the numerous trials
    All coming through our ways
    As we venture and aspire for success
    And though we seek to be happy all our days
    To our dismay it has been sorrow along

    Light seems to be hidden
    Even though it is being carefully sought
    We have to grope and stagger
    But then being strong willed and unrelenting
    In the search for a happy life

    And in the thick darkness that ensued
    We will not stop looking ahead
    Looking forward to light
    With hopes alive,not surrendering to despair
    Until the comforter in sorrow wipes all tears away
