    Horrors Of Addiction

    Horrors of addiction
    Can cause pain of affliction
Not knowing the damage you've done
Sometimes not until the addiction has won
Not understanding that pleasure you feel you've gain
Can turn around and cause you a lifetime of pain
Like a wicked tornado destroying everthing in its path
That addiction will drag you until you've begun to feel its rath
Never forget the pain when that addiction destroys another
For it may be your father, brother, sister or your mother

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
