How "Awesome" are You God
All the wondrous things You do
All the appropriate answers
To the prayers I cry out to You
All the perfect instructions
When I haven't got a clue.

How "Gentle" are You God
When I lay awake at night
With thoughts and prayers, hopes and dreams
And a stomach full of fright
Your Holy Spirit descends upon me
And makes my burdens light.

How "Faithful" are You God
When I feel I'm all alone
Your presence becomes proof
That I haven't been on my own
And the safest place is in Your arms
Where I feel I belong.

How "Righteous" are You God
That You're always at Your best
Even when those who say they love You
Give You less and less
And constantly question Your power
And put You to the test.

Thank You God, for being God
For ultimately choosing me
For putting my name in the "Book of Life"
To seal me eternally
Instead of questioning who You are, my God,
I've chosen to worship Thee.
