    Human

    You swept me off
    my feet
    We fell in love
    we took the leap
    We were untouchable
    our love was grand
    Those first few months
    we were hand in hand

    Then time moved on
    and so did the sharing
I thought we we were happy
    but you had stopped caring
    We lived everyday
    with salt in the sugar
    and then you divulged
    that you had a lover

    My pain ran so deep
in my shoes I was shaking
    How can my love
    stop my heart from breaking
    The years went by
    and I learned to forgive
    He's only human
    he atoned what he did

    The fire came back
it was short but so sweet
    I thought we were back
    and on our feet
    But I was torn
    and my heart was aching
    I couldn't hold on
to the love we were making

    My heart started yearning
    for grass that was greener
    Is that how you felt
when you had first seen her?
    Now I understand
why you did what you did
    The thrill of the chase
    and passion's first kiss

    I can't condone you
    for I did the same
    I too am human
    Who's trully to blame?

Hello.........................................I really liked this....nice style you have here...:)

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
