I Love You

I Love You

My head is confused, and my heart is dieing,
my soul has crushed, and I tried to stop crying.
I am so sorry; I did not mean it,
all I want is to hear you say it.

It is all I want; it means so much to me,
oh please baby, can you just say it to me.
Hearing you say it helps me through,
but, it kills me, because I know you want to.

I hide my feeling, because it is so easy,
when I think of them, it makes me wheezy.
Not being able to see you makes me sad,
but, knowing you love me makes me glad.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
