Proof of Love
The words from my mouth may be familiar
But the words from my heart are yet untouched
The day I said, “I love you” with my mouth, I was unsure
The day my heart whispered to you “your mine”, I knew
I may not be the perfect person or say the perfect thing
However, I know you the perfect one and my everything
Our bodies may be apart from each other for now
But, love is measured by how close our hearts are forever
I may not know whom I am supposed to be with later
I sure know you are the one I want in my life now
My words to you can only go so far to show I care
My heart will go to the moon and back to show you my love
