You've been gone for so long Daddy,
and I really miss you ALOT.
I just wanted to say I love you,
just incase you forgot.
It has been 6 years now,
even though it feels longer.
I think about you everyday,
in one way or another,
and it never eases the pain away.
My heart never grows stronger.
I still cry when I think of you,
and I try so hard not to be blue,
but you were the greatest man ever,
and the day you left,
my heart you did sever.
Everything I ever liked,
to do with you as a child,
have all gone when you went away,
and the memories have since grown mild.
But the days I do remeber,
oh' my day just can't get better.
Those were the greatest days of my life,
that I will cherish and share forever.
And as i lean some new tricks,
on being a better mother,
and raise my child to grow up,
and be like no other,
I'll know your looking down,
and never being mad.
