Lying in bed
lifeless
tears stream down
my face
are you really gone
i watched you walk away
only wishing to wake up
from this nightmare
day turned into night
only to realize
my dream was a reality
running...
just to hide
from the pain
but it stalks me
like a prey in the night
jumping on my despair
my breath gone
my body lies there...
lifeless
all hope is gone
nothing more to
live for
love

blew away in the wind
i close my eyes
to think of you
only to open them
and realize...
you aren't there
no more tears
just lifeless eyes
staring into the darkness
emptiness
loneliness
pure dark
in my soul
