CHRISTINA

Hi! I'm Christina F. Helper. I am a 25 year old writer. I was born on Jan.29,1986. So what dose that mean? It means that in my life time I have had TWO spaceships blow up on my birthday (Challenger on Jan.28, 1986 and Columbia on Feb.2,2003). I'm pretty sure God hates spaceships esp. on and around my birthday. I just want to know what NASSA did to piss Jesus, Moses and/or Mohammad off.I was born in Rantoul. Ill, at Chanute air force base. I lived in Danville up until my grandpa had died, I was 9. My grandpa and I were very close. It was the saddest time in my life up to that point.I've always written poems; just at that point I started writing about more serious things. At the age of 10 I started cutting. It was then I started writing about things such as death and suicide. Luckily I did I have two salvations at this time (besides my poetry). I met most of my best friends at this time all of them are Godsends. My other salvation was music especially METAL. I was raised with all kinds of music my grandpa would spend most of the day playing bands/ artist like B.B. King, Dean Martin, Wagner, Pink Floyd and his favorite band The Sex Pistols. But metal just seemed to hit a nerve with me. I still listen to a little bit of everything like old school rap (Run DMC and Public Enemy)-country (Willie Nelson-Johnny Cash)-classical (Wagner-Bach), but metal it is in my blood and I love all of it. From the early-hair /glam metal. From thrash-new metal to Norweaian Black metal. I'm as passionate about metal as I am about my writing. Both metal and writing I have been my confidents, my lovers, my children, MY LIFE. As far as my writing I'm all over the place from social issues (genocide, terrorism, war, ect) -personal issues (love, suicide, depression, ect). Honestly though I think my writing reflects that I don't talk about one thing .
I do feel like I should explain the photos I've put up. The monkey is a Indian (dot) God called Hanuman the reason I put him up is :1 I love monkeys, ask anyone who knows me ,anything monkey I love.2 I want this photo as a tattoo. The guitar there are also two reasons I chose that photo:1 I play guitar and ,2 I love Hello Kitty. The third pic is of the founder of my church Dr.Anton Szander LaVey(left) and Sammy Davis Jr.(right). The last pic is of my favorite silent film actor Lon Chaney (NO RELATION TO DICK) in his (sadly) lost performance "London After Midnight".
Most of my friends like I said their Godsends. Most of them are in bands or writters themself, so they get me. But sometimes I think they tell me my stuff is good, when it's not. To be honest this gets on my nerves, like you wouldn't believe, that and when someone reads my stuff and all I get is "It's good". GOD! That makes me want to scream. But one thing many of my friends (who are also writers) do is they offtend try to, pick one poem and/or song from their favorite band and/or a more famous poet(Edgar Allen Poe, HPLovecraft,Lord Byron, ect) to describe themselves. I wish I could do this, but this has always been hard for me. I mean HOW DO YOU PICK.........JUST ONE.But if I had to pick a poem to describe me one I would put this one on the list of canidates would be "Over And Out" by George Carlin. Read it and you'll see why!:
Modern Man
By George Carlin
"Im a modern man, a man for the millennium. Digital and smoke free. A diversified multi-cultural, post-modern deconstruction that is anatomically and ecologically incorrect. Ive been up linked and downloaded, Ive been inputted and outsourced, I know the upside of downsizing, I know the downside of upgrading. Im a high-tech low-life. A cutting edge, state-of-the-art bi-coastal multi-tasker and I can give you a gigabyte in a nanosecond!
Im new wave, but Im old school and my inner child is outward bound. Im a hot-wired, heat seeking, warm-hearted cool customer, voice activated and bio-degradable. I interface with my database, my database is in cyberspace, so Im interactive, Im hyperactive and from time to time Im radioactive.
Behind the eight ball, ahead of the curve, ridin the wave, dodgin the bullet and pushin the envelope. Im on-point, on-task, on-message and off drugs. Ive got no need for coke and speed. I've got no urge to binge and purge. Im in-the-moment, on-the-edge, over-the-top and under-the-radar. A high-concept, low-profile, medium-range ballistic missionary. A street-wise smart bomb. A top-gun bottom feeder. I wear power ties, I tell power lies, I take power naps and run victory laps. Im a totally ongoing big-foot, slam-dunk, rainmaker with a pro-active outreach. A raging workaholic. A working rageaholic. Out of rehab and in denial!
Ive got a personal trainer, a personal shopper, a personal assistant and a personal agenda. You cant shut me up. You cant dumb me down because Im tireless and Im wireless, Im an alpha male on beta-blockers.
Im a non-believer and an over-achiever, laid-back but fashion-forward. Up-front, down-home, low-rent, high-maintenance. Super-sized, long-lasting, high-definition, fast-acting, oven-ready and built-to-last! Im a hands-on, foot-loose, knee-jerk head case pretty maturely post-traumatic and Ive got a love-child that sends me hate mail.
But, Im feeling, Im caring, Im healing, Im sharing-- a supportive, bonding, nurturing primary care-giver. My output is down, but my income is up. I took a short position on the long bond and my revenue stream has its own cash-flow. I read junk mail, I eat junk food, I buy junk bonds and I watch trash sports! Im gender specific, capital intensive, user-friendly and lactose intolerant.
I like rough sex. I like tough love. I use the Fâï
;¿½ word in my emails and the software on my hard-drive is hardcore--no soft porn.
I bought a microwave at a mini-mall; I bought a mini-van at a mega-store. I eat fast-food in the slow lane. Im toll-free, bite-sized, ready-to-wear and I come in all sizes. A fully-equipped, factory-authorized, hospital-tested, clinically-proven, scientifically- formulated medical miracle. Ive been pre-wash, pre-cooked, pre-heated, pre-screened, pre-approved, pre-packaged, post-dated, freeze-dried, double-wrapped, vacuum-packed and, I have an unlimited broadband capacity.
Im a rude dude, but Im the real deal. Lean and mean! Cocked, locked and ready-to-rock. Rough, tough and hard to bluff. I take it slow, I go with the flow, I ride with the tide. Ive got glide in my stride. Drivin and movin, sailin and spinin, jiving and groovin, wailin and winnin. I dont snooze, so I dont lose. I keep the pedal to the metal and the rubber on the road. I party hearty and lunch time is crunch time. Im hangin in, there aint no doubt and Im hangin tough, over and out!"

I do believe that you can tell alot about someone by what kind of flims the watch. So some other movies I like are ........... (see below)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------OH! FYI I SUCK AT SPELLING AND PUNCHUATION SO IF YOU FIND ANY ERRORS----TOLD YOU SO.
This next thing is this test I took on fubar (where I USE TO have a page). It matched your personality with an element. Normaly I don't bother with this kind of thing, but I think it's description of me is pretty accuratly.

---------------------Your Element Is Water---------------------------------
A bit of a contradiction, you can seem both lighthearted and serious.
That's because you're good at going with the flow - but you also are deep.

Highly intuitive, you tune in to people's emotions and moods easily.
You are able to tap into deep emotional connections and connect with others.

You prefer a smooth, harmonious life - but you can navigate your way around waves.
You have a knack for getting people to get along and making life a little more peaceful.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So with that said THANX for checking me and my writing out , I hope that you'll respect that my poetry is mine and give me credit for it,other than that I hope you enjoy.

You are a writer who crosses the line.Who has a point, and makes it!You are a writer who takes a concept, twists it as you perceive it to be and exposes it to light! You are a risk taker in your work, and this shines clear with each masterfully vivid piece you present Christina.-In other words,in my words-you are a real artist. You are creating REAL art.I am so greatful John has brought my attention to you-It's like a Christmas present he has given me,to be able to read a young lady who is so cutting edge, and so ready to blossom and blow everybody away with her vision!-Always write Christina, always. It's where your truth can be seen-and it's such a gift to this planet.-thanx

Lil Sis Where the hell are you?

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
