I SHOULD HAVE BEEN

I SHOULD HAVE BEEN

“I SHOULD HAVE BEEN”

Thinking back over the years
Remembering my goals
How did I let them go?

I should have been M. Monroe
A physiologist, social worker
An attorney, maybe a Politian.

Dreams I had in my youth
Making a differences
In society and contributing.

Issues and causes
Were my fire power
I should have been.

Maybe my life did…
MaKe a difference
I know Jesus took my hand.

His plan journeyed me
To where I’m suppose to be
His plan made me, who I am today.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
