    I thank GOD that I found you

     I thank GOD that I found you,
    After all the hurt I've been through.
    Everynight I thank my lucky star,
    That you love me if you're near or far.
    You stole my heart the night we met,
    That I'll never forget.
    When I saw you sitting there,
    I knew deep down we had something to share
    Now every morning when I get home,
    I see you laying there all alone.
    I love to crawl up close to you,
    Even if its snuggling we only do.
    Later that day when I awake,
    You in my arms I shall take.
    My love for you will always be true,
    I'll keep on saying this through and through.
    You opened up the me inside,
    So now deep in your embrace I'll reside.
    Forever in my heart you will be,
    Cause you love me for just being me!

    Where does this fit in the scheme of things? Did this love come after the betrayal in your other poem I read, or did it come before in the sequence of things. Is this the one who betrayed you latter on? It would be interesting to know. Some meter problems in this one, but otherwise very nice.

    This Love came after the betrayal one..and no its not about the same person
