I tried to give her something she will never have
I tried to make a hoe, my better half
I tried to give her a home and a peace of mind

I tried to educate a hoe that's not teachable
I tried to love and respect her and accept her
I tried to tell her what her life style would get her

I tried to make her understand I am not like the others

I tried to look out for her, and be a friend

I tried to be honest and her show her what's real
