    if i had it my way

     if i had it my way....

    if i had it my way it would rain all day
    if i had it my way it would rain everyday
    i would look up into the sky
    and the people passing by
    would not be able to tell the difference in the raindrops and my tears.

    if i had it my way i would be a child again 
    we would all be children 
    uncorrupted by the "va va voom" of life wasting away

    if i had it my way i would be asleep 
    instead of writing at 2:02 in the morning 
    oh the sweet Texas mornings. 

    if i had it my way 
    if only i had it my way.....

    It would be amazing that way especially to be forever a child. As far as the rain all day as a child I don't know about that one cause I would love to go outside a play if I were forever a child. Great write I enjoyed and thanks I wrote so much but I have to bring my work here. I'm now at GS poetry all the time.You should go there. I'll always come back here. Love ya Eminence

    i like this very much. it is melancholy but has a hint of hope. i just like the way it flows.
