If I Just Talked to Her...

    by Iolanda Scripca

    apocalyptical surrender
    no one touching her
    withered leaves are falling
    her heart—a canopy

    mortal face of beauty
    smudged by evil rains
    search for inner shelter
    broken glass of puzzle

    pony tails of sorrow
    smile of timid child
    empty nest enduring
    reality of time

    Clarisse of Eastern Paris
    Children mocking her
    Waiting for her route
    She was never seen again...

    Thank you!

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
