    I'm a FAT man

    As I grow
    rounder and rounder;
    I have to stop
    and ponder...

    Should I have skipped
    dessert last night?
    Why the hell
    are my pants so tight?

    I'm literally cheekier
    than I used to be.
    The fat man in me
    is starting to get free!

    If you pull at my spare tires
    or my extra chins;
    I'll smack you so hard
    that your world spins.

    I might be fatter now
    but look at it this way...
    I can diet it all way
    but you're butt ugly everyday!

    Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
