    In God's Plan's

    When things aren't going right
Even if you're the one whose crossed me
In general. it's you who keeps me going
Cuz you're still so young you see
When you need a pat on the back
Or a wee hand held during the night
I am and will always be there
God made it a Mama's duties, right?
I can still sit you on my lap
And hold your sweet face between my hands
And help you tie your shoes
And with your homeschool lesson plans
    When you've been with Daddy
Then come racing down the mall
A wee jump to reach your arms 'round my neck
I don't care who sees us at all
Some say, "He should be doing this
Or he should be doing that
Cuz he is nearly nine you know
He should have all this under his hat."
I say he's really doing quite well
I don't care to pressure him so
He's exactly where he should be
In God's plans, He's the one who knows.
