In Memory Of The Dead

In Memory Of The Dead

I visited your grave in a tranquil graveyard,
on your headstone your name was written.
With tears in my eyes I remember your smile, your blue eyes, your knidness and your love.
Now here you lie under a blue sky, decayed, decomposed, deprived, neglected and forgotten.
Grandparents are too easily forgotten.

Thats what I think is shocking.
